On Sunday 5 December 2021 at 4pm, we held a special remembrance event online, enabling us to come together virtually to reflect on the year and remember people we love who are no longer with us.
The Remembering with St Christopher’s event is now available to watch again, so please do so in your own time, with family, friends or on your own as an act of remembrance.
This week there will be opportunities to visit when the installation is lit up after dark for moments of reflection and remembrance.
Volunteers will meet you at the entrance to St Christopher’s CARE to guide you to the installation.
There will be daily sessions from 6 – 12 December from 4pm.
Everyone has a unique grief journey and one of the ways to remember those who have died is by creating something which helps us remember a life well-lived.
We’re inviting you to remember the life of someone special by adding a link to our chain. Each link in the chain will represent someone special who you have loved. There is strength and solidarity in this shared experience, a place where bonds are formed and links are made.
Dedicating a link means we can continue to provide the highest standard of care to many more people at the end of life.
St Christopher’s has provided this support for over 50 years to more than 60,000 people in our local community and we want to do this for many more years to come.
