Psychological and spiritual care

The Psychological and Spiritual Care team offer space for compassionate, contemplative care and reflection, through therapeutic, psychological, emotional, religious, pastoral and spiritual support.
We tend to inner experiences and systems of meaning making, as well as outward actions of faith and expressions of crisis in the face of dying and death. This may be in the realm of feelings, thoughts, memory (past traumas), values, faith and/or beliefs.
We also offer advice and support on psychological and spiritual elements of ‘total pain’, how to help manage suffering and relate with the unknown.
Our team comprises art and music psychotherapists, a talking therapist and chaplains.
We offer one to one support as well as the following groups:
- Singing for Breathlessness
- Creative Bereavement
- Mindfulness Based Art Therapy
- Pilgrim Room Services (starting very soon)
