St Christopher’s Christmas events were full of Christmas spirit and community togetherness

St Christopher’s fundraising Christmas Festival in Sydenham on Saturday 5 December was a fantastic success, with hundreds of shoppers enjoying the variety of stalls, mince pies and mulled wine on offer.

Santa’s Grotto, which was beautifully designed, built and installed by SetWorks, was a delight for children aged 1 to 92 and proved very popular.

There were great prizes to be won in the tombolas and raffles including a 40” Samsung TV, and PopGems Academy brought festive sparkle to a breezy winter’s day with an outstanding dance performance.

On Sunday 6 November, the Remembering with St Christopher’s service brought thousands of people together in the grounds of the hospice. This cherished annual occasion provided a moment amidst the Christmas rush to remember loved ones who have died, at a short inclusive service where the lights on St Christopher’s outdoor Christmas tree were lit.

St Christopher’s would like to offer a huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers who helped make the Festival and Remembering with St Christopher’s events such a success, as well as all those visitors who joined us for such special occasions.
