St Christopher’s Food Festival and Wild West Fair a huge success once again

The hospice’s summer fair raised an incredible £22,000 and featured a wonderful array of street and artisan foods for sale, fun-filled western-style entertainment and, an ever-popular dog show

A Rodeo bull entertained wannabe-cowboys and children loved the western-themed games such as ‘tin-can alley’ and ‘cactus’ hoopla. There was also a bouncy castle assault course, pony rides, and entertainment in the central arena all day, including Lindy Hop dancing and a magic show.

The recipe for the day included a mix of local producers, a big serving of stunning hot food, cider and wine, a dash of craft and gift stalls and a fantastic cake stall which together made it a lovely foodie family day out. Fresh food included Venezuelan street food, wood fired pizzas, American frontier food and strawberries and cream.

The Food Festival was generously sponsored by Riverford Organic Farmers, whilst the fantastic dog show was sponsored by Ashmore Veterinary Centre and supported by Pet Perfection and Tailwaggers Dog Groomers.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make St Christopher’s Food Festival and Wild West Fair a huge success!
