Dementia Without Loneliness with Michael Verde

Imagine a society in which people with dementia belong and matter…

Where they feel connected and valued and those concerned about them feel comfortable and confident in maintaining these important relationships.

We’re working with Memory Bridge to introduce a new way of viewing the challenges associated with dementia, by offering a variety of training programmes focused on creating meaningful relationships with people with dementia.

“People with dementia do not lose their identities— unless we cease to identify with them. The principle source of suffering of those with dementia is emotional and social isolation. The good news is we can remedy that condition with the gift of our loving attention. We can heal what can’t be cured.”

Michael Verde, Memory Bridge founder

Dementia events focused on communication

The founder of the Memory Bridge initiative, Michael Verde, is joining us this November to host a series of events focusing on communicating with people with dementia. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about these events.
