Pedder first began supporting St Christopher’s in 2011 and, as a family run business, we were keen to recognise such an important local cause. Pedder have been operating in south east London for over 40 years and so we wanted to connect to local causes that make an enduring difference to those in and around South East London.

Pedder are proud to support charities that make a real difference to their local community and that could not be truer for St Christopher’s. They are in the heart of the community and support thousands of people on a daily basis with care, dignity, and respect. They make a real difference, not only to their immediate patients, but also to the families and carers of those patients, creating and fostering a sense of compassion and love for every individual they meet going through end of life care.

St Christopher’s makes a real difference, not only to their immediate patients, but also to the families and carers

It has been great to see the real change that has been developing over the years in terms of the levels of support that St Christopher’s can now offer to people in the local community. Perhaps the most exciting and rewarding part of this journey is the new Learning Hub that will be built onsite. Pedder are proud to be directly sponsoring the Learning Hub, which will enable thousands more people from across the whole of the UK to have access to the highest quality of care. It will also mean that if carers cannot make it to the hospice they can learn cutting edge techniques to become the best carers they can at home. This evolution in the availability of remote care is so inspiring to see and we are so proud to support St Christopher’s as they grow and develop.

Pedder recently became a Gold Business Partner of St Christopher’s, signing a £1,000 per year pledge for the next five years in order to best support the new Learning Hub. Alongside our financial support, we will continue to promote events hosted by St Christopher’s on our social media sites,  in our bi-monthly mailers to over 30,000 homes, and, quarterly email campaigns that are sent to over 1,000 people. We are proud to support the hospice in any way we can in order for them to receive the maximum amount of exposure for all of the amazing work that they are undertaking in South East London and beyond.
