Your new role

We have an exciting and new opportunity that has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join our Estates and Site Services Team. The Project Manager will support the Estates and Site Services Team. The role is primarily to coordinate the day to day management of small to medium size building fabric and M&E projects at the Sydenham site. This will include but not be limited to:

  • Plant maintenance, repairs, upgrades and replacement
  • Building repair and refurbishment
  • Project management for defined capital projects
  • Office reconfiguration and relocations
  • The management of staff and external companies to deliver the above
  • Work packages and studies to support the Estates and Site Services Team

What you will need to succeed

The successful job holder will posses the following skills/attributes:

  • Experience delivering facilities management projects using both internal and external labour
  • Educated to HNC/HND/degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Relevant professional health and safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH)
  • A thorough understanding and experience of working in FM within a large and complex organisation (preferably healthcare)
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety requirements across a multi-sited organisation
  • Experience of managing engineering projects across a multi-sited organisation, operating some 24x7 services
  • Previous experience of financial management and budgetary control of all associated project expenditure
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to manage an annual programme of work and to ensure statutory compliance within the areas of facilities management
