St Christopher’s Hospice was founded in 1967 by Dame Cicely Saunders and formed part of the modern hospice movement. Proudly celebrating over 50 years and with a turnover of over £20 million, we provide invaluable care and support to over 7,500 people across the five London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.

Your new role 

We have an exciting and truly rewarding opportunity that has arisen for a passionate and strong team player, who has experience of supporting individuals with complex needs in the third sector, health or social care. You will be joining our spirited Community Linkworker team to provide a service to connect our patients and family members to a range of internal and external services to ensure the support they receive is right for them.

To succeed in this role

You will be experienced in working with community members to understand people’s needs and perspectives and be able to adopt a creative approach to your work. You are passionate about community-based support and have experience of South-East London community and voluntary sector organizations. It is vital to the role that you are a strong team player, as well as being able to work autonomously as a high standard. Due to the nature of the role you must feel comfortable working with people at the end of life.
