Visits to St Christopher’s CARE

At St Christopher’s we are passionate about building a thriving workforce of healthcare professionals and offer a range of opportunities for those both studying and working in the field of hospice and palliative care.

Clinical visits

Our Clinical Visits provide the opportunity for observation of clinical practice and decision making to practitioners and researchers interested in the art and science of palliative care.

We are pleased to offer both in person and virtual Clinical Visits.

Visits are designed around your areas of interest and learning needs, and typically involve observation of multiple teams at work within the hospice and the community, with the opportunity to talk to clinical leaders about their role and contribution.

Clinical Visits are typically 2-5 days in length and are primarily based at St Christopher’s Hospice in south east London. Depending on your areas of interest there may be some travel with clinicians in the community.

Virtual Clinical Visits will run over a period of 2-3 days available online.

Clinical Practitioners who want to witness the practice of Hospice and Palliative Care.

Please note, we cannot accept Clinical Visit applications from students (students should refer to student section) or extended duration placements with supervision and assessment requirements.

In Person Clinical Visits are £100 per day (inclusive of VAT)
