Whilst St Christopher’s is more than just a hospice, its core business is ultimately to provide end of life care, expertise and support to around 4000-6000 people every year. It is our view that in order for the organisation to do this well, staff should have access to high quality effective clinical and/or professional supervision including reflective practice, to enable them to fulfill their role to the best of their ability and for registered health care professionals to practice safely and in line with requirements of both the organisation and their relevant regulatory and professional bodies.
We are keen to pilot a clinical supervision offer delivered by volunteers with the appropriate skills.
