Can you assist in providing group clinical supervision to staff and patient and family support volunteers?
Why we need your help
Whilst St Christopher’s is more than just a hospice, its core business is ultimately to provide end of life care, expertise and support to around 4000-6000 people every year. It is our view that in order for the organisation to do this well, staff should have access to high quality effective clinical and/or professional supervision including reflective practice, to enable them to fulfil their role to the best of their ability and for registered health care professionals to practice safely and in line with requirements of both the organisation and their relevant regulatory and professional bodies.
We are keen to pilot a clinical supervision offer delivered by volunteers with the appropriate skills.
- We are especially looking for someone who is ideally a UKCP supervisor, who understands the modality of integrative arts psychotherapy and understands thinking psychotherapeutically about their patients.
- At this time we are also particularly looking for those with membership or accreditation of the British Association of Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).
