Manpower Planning/Workforce Development Strategy Volunteer
Can you help us produce a new workforce strategy?
Why we need your help
We need to understand our workforce; where we are at present, what gaps we have and how we may look in ten years’ time. We need to look at the data that we have already, decide what new data we need and produce a new workforce strategy.
Our Director of People & Organisational Development (OD) is drawing together a small group of people from within and outside of the organisation, who have a natural curiosity around workforce planning and is able to convert people/workforce data into business intelligence, drawing conclusions about gaps and opportunities that may exist. We currently have 3 places remaining.
Our hope is that this work will not only help to shape the new People & Workforce Development Strategy for 2020 and beyond but will also provide the organisation with helpful information that will feature and feed into a range of different organisational strategic priorities and business decisions.
The project will conclude with a sophisticated analytical presentation, to be delivered to our Trustee Board in May 2020, which should tell the story of what our workforce currently looks like and what some of our workforce challenges might be in the future. Our preference at this stage is to put this in the context of PwC’s report “Workforce of the Future – the competing forces shaping 2030”.
