    Care with Compassion Aims:
    As a Care with Compassion Volunteer your aim is to provide care and support to people, their families and carers using sensory experiences and meaningful activities to:

    • Promote a sense of inner peace and relaxation
    • Connect to the person within
    • Pay attention to the comfort and care of the person you are working with
    • Develop relationships with the person you are matched with, their family and carers
    • Feel empowered to support family and carers to engage in Care with Compassion

    As a Care with Compassion Volunteer you are encouraged to:
    • Connect and bond with the people you are matched with
    • Listen with Curiosity
    • Act with integrity
    • Treat everyone with kindness—including yourself
