Bereavement Help Point Volunteer

Could you help with supporting visitors in our Bereavement Help Point?

• Central Croydon Library, Katharine Street, Croydon CR9 1ET & West Norwood library, 1 Norwood High Street and Sydenham
• 2 hours a week
• Every other week

Bereavement Buddy

• In the community, linked with a bereaved person/family who lives within one of St Christopher’s catchment areas (Bromley, Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon) - particularly seeking new volunteers in Croydon
• 1-2 hours a week, to support a bereaved person from a short time prior to the person’s expected death, to up to 4 months after the death

Store Volunteer

Become a store volunteer and have fun whilst learning new skills and making a difference

• In one of our 23 high street stores
• Flexible and negotiable time commitment: Between 3-7 hours a shift
• Most stores are open seven days a week, various shifts available

Fundraising Event helper

Can you volunteer your time to help ensure the success of our fundraising events?

• In the community, based in one of the five boroughs we cover (Croydon, Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham, or Southwark)
• Throughout the year, usually on weekends

Fundraising Ambassador volunteer

If you’re interested in volunteering at St Christophers but at this time unsure of how or in which role, you can register your interest and we’ll keep in touch via a regular volunteer newsletter and also advise when new roles are being recruited for.
