Why volunteer with St Christopher’s
Join our enthusiastic team
We’re pretty proud of the nearly 1,000 volunteers we have here at St Christopher’s. They’re a passionate bunch of people and we know you’d fit right in!
Get involved in your community
Whether you’ve lived in the local area for decades or you’ve just moved close by, there’s no better way to engage with and support your community than to volunteer in it.
Use and develop your skills
Everyone has something to offer, whether gained through employment, personal experience or volunteering elsewhere. We not only want to celebrate that expertise, but we’d like to help you build your skillset by volunteering with us.
Training and support
Application submitted, accepted and off you go! Nope, that’s not how we roll. Each volunteering opportunity will include an induction, ongoing training and support to make sure you have all the tools you need.
A big thank you
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Both individually and collectively you will make a big difference to the people we support. We are, and always will be, extremely grateful.

Current opportunities
From roles supporting patient care and out in the community to volunteering in our shops or helping out at a fundraising event, there are a wealth of opportunities to volunteer with us
