In order to be shortlisted for an interview, you will have to demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria on the job. This can be found on the person specification at the end of the Job description.

Please note that we are currently not able to progress applications from candidates who require a Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK.  

Standard Employee Checks

All employees will be required to undergo our pre-employment checks

  • Confirmation of your Right to Live and Work in the UK (including ID verification)
  • Medical clearance from our Occupational Health Service (which may include participation in the immunisation programme)
  •  Disclosure Barring Service Clearance (Police Check) 
  •  Two references satisfactory to St Christopher’s

The interview

Most interviews will involve a panel who will ask competency based questions to allow you to expand on your application form, share your experiences and demonstrate how you meet the job requirements as set out in the person specification.

Some roles may also involve an assessment as part of the interview process, which may include a test, in tray exercise or presentation, but don’t worry, we will provide all the necessary information prior to your interview/assessment day.
