Back at the start of the year we told you about our fantastic new St Christopher’s Centre for Awareness and Response to End of Life (CARE). It’s now been open for a few months but it’s missing one vital ingredient – YOU!!
The pandemic might have prevented us from welcoming any visitors but now all that is about to change. We’ve got a packed programme of activities planned for Saturday 25 September.
This is your chance, whether you’re a member of the public, doctor, nurse or other health or social care professional, to come and experience everything this world-class facility has to offer.
During the open day, visitors will be able to take in the full range of features that go together to make this a space that’s as ideal for specialist learning as it is for art exhibitions and quiet contemplation.
You can enjoy practical demonstrations in the Skills Lab, lectures from special guest speakers and interactive performances, or simply enjoy the relaxing setting of the beautiful, landscaped garden and planted roof. St Christopher’s CARE is for all, whether you’re a home carer or a clinician, and we can’t wait for you to come and see how to make it your own.
We will also be offering a full day of practical demonstrations, innovative exhibitions and attend lectures on topical subjects on Friday 24 September for Healthcare professionals.
