Karen joined St Christopher’s in 2017 as a newly qualified staff nurse working in the inpatient unit and has since gone on to become a clinical nurse specialist working in the community team – currently working with residents in the Lambeth borough. She enjoys being able to support people in their own homes to continue living (and dying) in the ways that are uniquely important and personal to them.

Karen has joined the Professional Learning team for one day a week as a learning facilitator. She is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm with others and learning with and from others who all have their own experiences and perspectives on palliative care.
